Speaker - Ms Nina Renshaw
Nina joined EPHA as Secretary-General in 2014 and leads the secretariat in Brussels. Nina has over 12 years’ professional experience at European level across a range of policy areas. She represents EPHA at SDG Watch Europe, the Social Platform, the Better Regulation Watchdog, and is a member of the European Commission’s Expert Group on International Trade Agreements.
Prior to joining EPHA, Nina spent eight years at Brussels-based environmental group Transport & Environment (T&E), where she was Deputy Director. During her time at T&E, she successfully campaigned on a variety of EU policies including road safety and the health impacts of transport. She was a delegate to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and represented the Green10 environmental groups on the European Commission’s Advisory Group on red tape reduction.
After graduating in International Business in the UK, she started her career in logistics in Austria. She gained an MA in European Policy and Politics from Humboldt University in Berlin and Bath University where she specialised in civil society and policy-making.
